Banned for life?

What I do to deal with @$$holes with ops, I just run a cute little proggy that prevents me from being kicked or banned. If they ask, and give me a good reason, I'll leave, but I can't just be banned out of nowhere. The internet is truly full of morons. I was playing a StarCraft game the other day, and I got banned from the game because I had to download the map. Apparantly 30 seconds of these guys time was far to valuable to waste on me. It's the kind of thing that makes you want to punch someone in the face ;)

Finally just because you were banned doesn't mean that you cant get into that #channel again,ops think that they can ban you from thier #channel,dont belive that if you want to know how to get around thosr bans drop me a line and I will be more than happy to tell and show you how.

Evidently, you haven't taken your own advice and RTFM'd... or, shall I say, read the FAQ itself, here. This isn't a hacking board or a place to tell people "just DDoS someone in to non-existance." This is a board to talk about ways to prevent that, or ways to possibly improve the system(s) so that such a thing isn't really possible.

And most of these "leets," as you say, aren't stupid enough to not simply blackhole you from DOS'ing them and, more than likely, are smart enough to call ISPs and get the situation resolved and, quite possibly, take care of your connection to the net quite effectively (ie. you will be searching for a new ISP to take your sorry-ass in...).

You see, they DO have power, because the CAN kick you out of the channel. If someone is op, it's because whoever is running the channel has decided to let the opp decide what goes on in the channel. If you don't like it, leave. No one is forcing you to be in the IRC channel.

If you want to talk about free speech on IRC and websites, it isn't a democracy, it's a dictatorship under the admin. So if you don't like the site or the way it's run, leave!
