IMHO, Tyson should be banned from boxing for life.
Mention boxing and what do you think of? Tyson chewing off an ear, (but according to Jon Stewart ont he Daily Show - boxers are delicious) or Tyson saying he's gonna eat somebody's kids, or Tyson punching out somebody from the media, or Tyson pulling off another one of his numerous idiotic interviews.
Sure, he gets people talking about boxing, but it's always in a negative manner. Not what the sport needs.
Personally, I think he's snapped. The man's cheese has slipped off of his cracker. Compare Tyson's interviews of the last 2 years with interviews he did 6 years ago. Hes a totally different person. He misuses words, mispronounces words, is more violent and just plain "out there" sometimes. He wasn't like that (as bad any way) 6 years ago. Maybe he's punch-drunk, or maybe it's from prision. Maybe he snapped after all those years of getting screwed out of millions of $$$ by Don King -- who knows? But the guy is not the same person he used to be.
I mean c'mon. Pete Rose is banned for life from baseball, and I don't recall him ever trying to bite an opposing player! Any other sport who had a "bad boy" like Tyson would ban him. They can't be keeping him around for the $$$ or he would have been granted a license in Vegas in the first place!
after staying up so late to watch that the fight i think im pissed off enough with tysons performance that if we could raise a $5 purse i'd hop in the ring and slap the stumpy little sh*t

Linux Lewis vs. Mike "R-Soft" Tyson
I saw the fight on a juge screen tv. We had a pot going and everything. I lost of course. I was also rooting for Tyson because well... It's Tyson. Anyways, here's how he lost:
Lewis was jabbing the hell outa him. He was also connecting some massive blows to tyson and tyson was taking them. Tyson had both eyes cut and probably some bruised zygomatic (cheek) bones. Well, in the, I think, 7th round, Tyson was just loosing it, he wasn't connecting with crap and wasn't throwing crap, and you could tell it was the final round. Well, Tyson leaned to Lewis's right and his face was wide open, so Lewis took a big swing and connected and you just see Tyson lean foward, and Lewis bend over his back and then Tyson fell and was gone.
But what I was debating, was that while Lewis bent over Tyson's back, it had looked like he pushed Tyson down. I kept watching every replay of that and each camera angle looked like he had pushed him... But oh well.
