Very Strange Voices

Pretty spooky~! Maybe your computer is haunted? j/k

Something similiar happened to me. Whenever i would pick up my phone i would hear voices and even some weird mexican music playing at times! lol

i used to get the mexican radio playing faintly on my phone when i had my old answering machine ..weird stuff.. i have also gotten various stations picked up in my guitar amp as well..i wouldnt worry about it............unless you are wanted by the feds and then its probaly something to be very worried about! quick! go bury your harddrive in a hole in your backyard! (haha j/k)

I had the same problem as many other people, with voices in the background of my phones (only certain phones picked it up, though, which I thought was strange). But I digress. First thing I did was plug one of the hyper-sensitive phones into my phone box at the side of the house to ensure that the noise was coming from the outside, rather than some interference within my house. The voices were there, so I ended up jury-rigging a filter (Radio Shack's filter sucked, so I "fixed" it. hehe) and the voices disappeared. I've created similar set ups for friends who have the same problem now. Works like a charm!

PS: The voices ended up being a mixture of radio and television signals. Looks like someone did some poor splicing and shielding jobs somewhere along the pipe. At least one of my neighbors has the same problem.
