From the beginning I have been in agreeance with you on this matter, but I have slowly come to learn (and agree with hot_ice), green dots, red dots what does it matter - I am happy - if people wish to disagree and disapprove of my post and their only way to show it is through the AP system, so be it, we cant change that - I am not gunna complain, (not publicaly anyway, might lock myself in my room and sulk tho :) ) and I don't hold a grudge, never have, never will.
As for the balancing trick, I agree it sucks and you, like me, probably respond to better to constructive criticism than the "f@ck you" or some other intellectual masterpiece message you sometimes receive.
If anyone wants to leave their real contact name (not someone elses as happened here) and a message on an assignment I will be more than willing to PM and try and clarify things, maturely and civilly if it requires it. I am new to this and am here to learn, and tend to read more than post, although occassionally I do go into a "post frenzy" and fire a few off.
The whole site is improving all the time and I do publicly apologise if my first post offended you and I may have jumped in without checking the depth first !!.
Anyway, yours was a great suggestion and I hope it gets taken onboard.

Looks to me like the REAL whiners are turning up in the AP center. I agree with ya' Terr....there should be a timelimit where AP's are concerned, but thats gotta be JP's call. What really strikes me is the fact that I've only seen one person with the kahunas to disagree IN the thread. KorpDeath, my hat's off to you for your honesty. I guess now I'm the new target for all the LAME-ASSED COWARDS who are too chickenshit to say what they think IN PUBLIC where we can all see their true faces.

Well, I realized my suggestion has a real problem. (That, and I also realized if I'm going to be treated as a whiner, I might as well get my money's worth.)
If there IS a statute of limitations, there is nothing to prevent someone from searching for posts which are a day-before-limit and negging them, after which they are then made invulnerable, and the person is stuck with the negs and people have no way to fix it. Here's a revised suggestion.
The search features shouldn't be crippled, that would inconvenience people looking for posts. Rather, how about having a SHORTER limitation for negatives, and week-or-two longer one for positives? That way it isn't possible to sneak in negative points before the limit in order to make them irreversible. (And very few people would have a reason to try to sneak POSITIVE points in before the limit.)

I take full blame fore putting all my friends up to these post, but damn. I don't care.... All this BITCHING about AP's gotta stop, and if this thread does go suicide.... I agree one day everyones bitching about people bitching about AP's and all the compainers get NEGGED. The next day everyones complaining about AP's and the people that complain about the complainers ger NEGGED.. I guess thats evening it out huh? STOP BITCHING...
