did you have a *.nix system operating on the second partition at one time. if you did try deleting it with aefdisk, from aefdiesk.com and make it again with fdisk. windows fdisk util dosn't do such a hot job deleting unix type partitions.
nope, clean drive....new..... except for the partition with the win98 on it.
