Well technically, only a select few games have even moved into the 3D realm in my opinion, and those are those that support VR. Mechwarrior 2, 3, and 4, for example all contain code to support a head-mounted-display and head-tracker. That would be true 3D. I would love to get myself an HMD with head-tracker, but VR equipment is still hella expensive. Perhaps in a few years when they catch on, they will eventually come down.
I suppose you could say that some games incorporate time as a crucial element of the game (GTA3), but I don't know that I would call those games of the "4th Dimension". Interesting idea, though.
