This now seems to be fixed. I got an email notification (my first!) of MsMittens' last reply about 5 minutes after it was posted.

I have been exactly the same message. But before, I had been to try to connect on the site again and again during all the day without being able to do so!
And I don't notice it is faster!

I am the new server guy. So most of these issues I have to deal with..... I am working on makeing stuff faster but thats going to be a long hard road. Theres some ugly code in there. JP was running most of the front end of the site on windows and we are now runing on non windows (hmm take a guss). I think we have gotten throug a few of these issues

problem 1 is a known issue: when you assign antipoints to a post in a thread, and afterwards that thread is deleted, the stimetamp you see in your [the one that assigned them] antipoint center is some date back in 1969.

problem 3: people could install some script that made it possible for other fellow AO members to see what music you are playing with your winamp software... some feature JP added recently.

problem 4: the user tends to assign antipoints by the junior members falls in the red even if they assigned positive ap's. Look at your own user tends to assign. Mainly newbie users cannot assign many points so it's strange that they have all very negative assign habbits ;)

There's something wrong with the (users own) picture uploader.

After the upload, picture doesn't show up and there comes an error "Current Photo: Error: file 139750_photo.jpg not found" to the bottom of the page (http://www.antionline.com/upload.php...on=editprofile).

Something that i have just noticed is that when i try to view a thread that i have searched for everyone who has posted in that thread appears to be on my ignore list. It's not just one thread either, i have none on my ignore list and it tells me noone ignores me?

I have been noticing lately...about 2 days I think... that every time I enter a thread to view it, it will auto-refresh just about the time the whole thread gets loaded, this happens only if I do not try to scroll the screen while it is still loading, if I attempt to scroll while its loading it might auto-refresh 2 or 3 times before I can make it to the last post. I think I have seen a couple of posts in the forums with the words auto-refresh in the title, but, alas, I did not look at them then and while I loaded this thread I experienced the same problems. I suppose this is the thread to post this in because we have a real admin watching in here. :D

P.S. This effect is extremely annoying as I have to load each thread at least twice to view it. I have tried this with IE, Mozilla, and K-melion (or whatever it is ... lol )

Alright, many would agree, many have in the IRC.
The site is getting slower.
