when it comes to most operating system functions, It's like painting. Windows is a paint roller, linux is a camelhair brush. If you just want to paint a barn, meaning you don't need much control or any fine tuning, use windows, its easier. If you want to paint a portrait, do something really complicated, a camelhair brush (linux) is better. Now an experienced painter can paint a decent looking portrait with a paintroller, and an inexperienced user can't do dick with a camel hair brush. it's all relative.
