How come nobody's bothered to ask Deb how it went? This has turned from a warm wishes thread into a debate over Deb's parenting ability. That turned the thread downhill in a hurry:mad:

Yeah, I don't have an answer right now, the judge "needed time to think about it"...it's a bunch of complicated stupid legal crap, but right now, my son is with me for the holiday, so that's all that matters to me. I should have a final answer next week, or the week after :rolleyes:

With as much food as I have cooked/cooking today, if I can come up with the proper freezing techniques, I may not need to cook Thanksgiving dinner again till he's married with kids of his own :D
I hope the law make a right decision and gives the child to the better parent.
I hope everything goes well. I know how hard custody cases can be. I'm in the middle of one right now, thankfully we're trying to take care of it outside of court, unfortunately lawyers still have to be involved.

Best of luck to you Dopple, I assume since you're in Florida too, and you have lawyers involved but not court yet, you are speaking of mediation. I hope it goes well, it would have been nice for us to be able to do that, but my ex didn't even bother to show up for ours, so we had no options but going to court, he couldn't ignore that =/
