If you had a copy of Norton Utilities, you could try to diagnose
the file system on D: Most likely it's a corrupted boot sector. That's why the
OS is telling you that it's unformatted.
Don't panic.
Come to think of it, Scandisk might be able to tell you something,
and fix MBR and/or boot sector corruption.

Hahahha....sorry for posting twice but this one deserves it :D
OMG wtf did i do...i used my boot disk for my hard disk in which i can set my disks up etc...and move stuff....now i copied everything from D to C and it deleted everything else like windows and stuff...any suggestions on what to do now?
Maybe unplug my C and restore on D and make my D the boot drive then when i have xp again i could connect C again and set it as slave...any better ideas?
edit: looks like ima be stuck with linux knoppix for couple days
there might be a problem though...my D disk is kinda unstable to say
...windows recognizes it but its only showing 35GB instead of 80 GB til i put my hard disk boot floppy...it fixes it to 80GB but deletes all the stuff on D...so i was thinking i could take the C: to some other computer get all the files onto CDs format it and reinstall windows onto C...that would work i think
any better ideas are more than welcome ;)
