Hmm...Not sure I understand the philosophy on legalizing drugs though. Every time I hear the argument, it sounds to me like "if there were less laws, there'd be less law-breakers!" Well, yeah, duh. :D That doesn't mean you lower he crime rate by making everything legal though. Maybe I'm reading into wrong, but that's what it always sounds like to me. Our illegal drugs have negative side affects one way or another -- even weed, and I have plenty of ex-weed users who are lacking some brain cells now to prove that one.

Of course, perhaps I'm a bit biased. I dont understand the attraction to it, nor nicotine or alcohol for that matter. I've never done any of it simply because I don't see the point.

Your Christian take is interesting gore. I think, however, you have to figure in that we live in a fallen world that is no longer as ideal as God created in before the Fall. Just as roses now have thorns, some plants are harmful to man.

gore i hate to burst your bubble but the LP is not about making drugs available but rather not having government make it illegel. its just not the job of government to regulate such matters. billions are spent prosecuting citizens for victimless crimes, ruining lives and making for a monsterously inflated government.

as far as heroin goes its true the the substance itself causes no damage, however the effects of addiction do. loss of appitite over an extended period causes extreme malnutrition and that causes boocoo bad things aside from the fact that it just makes your life completely unmanagable. all of the opiates are extremely addictive. if you use opiates and say that you are not addicted this is an incomplete statemant. it should be your 'you are not addicted yet.'

Actually Ted, There is more to it than scraping my pods to get Vicodin. The plants growing in my garden have bulbs, and when they are ready, you slice them open a little, let the milk of paradise ooze out, and then sit for a few hours. After it turns a dark color, it's ready.

The Milk Contains Morphine, Codiene, and Thebain. Thebain is what is used to make Percocet and other Pain Killers. Morphine should be obviouse, and codiene, well, that should be too.

As for killing a want for food...If you've seen the pic in my profile, I doubt I have much to worry about there either.

According to the people here, I'm fat anyway.

Now, if it's what you're trying to get at, YES, I'M WILLING TO DIE EARLY FOR OPIATES. Case closed, I don't care if it does one day kill me. I smoke, and that will give me cancer. I accept that. I know it will be such a shame I won't make it to those depends and hip replacement years, but I'm OK with it.

I've went from failing all classes, to getting all As, and having a career planned, and doing a lot better than I ever was. HOw is this bad? I have ADD badly, and can't concentrate on things at all. Well, with this I can. You go your whole life not being able to concentrate on anything and being punished for it, and then find something that not only kills your depression and pain, but also lets you concentrate, and then have people say you're a bad person for doing it, then see how you feel.

If you think I'm bad for using Opiates, or like Christina and going tot alk **** saying I'm stupid with drugs, and brag about how you've had more Pharmacology classes than I'll ever dream of, just remember what happened 5 minutes after she said that. I proved her wrong. I don't care if you think I'm a bad person, at keast I'm a breathing one.

Now, I'm not getting a bubble smash, I know what they mean buy it. Drugs should be decriminalized.

I've left an open challenge to any person on this Earth on every forum I go to challenging ANYONE to prove a harmful side effect to an Opiate. I've yet to have this happen. It just goes to show you that you can't believe what a bunch of people, who have never even tried an Opiate, say about them.

Seriously, next time some parent comes up to me and says how I shouldn't do drugs because they did and they don't like it, and they turned out fine in life, I think I'm going to pimp slap them.

It's always the way. You tell someone not to ever do drugs because it will ruin your life, but then you look a round and see people on Wall street buying Vicodin in an alley. Yea, real good example! "Don't do drugs! Now if you'll excuse me I have a dime to buy!".

Hell, Debwalin sits and bitches about me doing drugs, and sticking up for drug use, and then I find out she smokes pot. But "It's OK, because it's only when my kids are away". Yea, because that makes you better than me right?

Cocain can have bad reactions, so can Crack, so can Caffiene. I said on Opium. you'll never see someone on Opium attacking someone else.

Crimes being commited while trashed? My ass. I've robbed more cars than most people drive, and I never did it drunk or anything else. Sober people on cops? Hmm, the "Down South" edition seems to have a lot of red neck bastards who aren't drunk going off.

As for saying Narcotics and things remove your ability to think of what's wrong? Actually, you're wrong and right. See, the chemical in your brain that tells you things might not be safe, might be stupid, and that you shouldn't do them, isn't even produced until around the age of 30. that's why kids will run into a busy street thinking nothing of it. Most adults just simply SHOULD.

Now, things like LSD, yea, they can be very dangerouse. I've never done it, and don't plan on it. Your whole World changes on that. I'm talking about OPIATES.

Opiate users act like semaritans and think like philosiphers. And don't you dare say that is wrong until I witness, in person, you getting pumped full of Morphine.

actually your not supposed to 'slice' into the pod...ruins the seed. traditionaly a sharpened oyster shell is used. makes a rougher cut and more resin seeps out. the dark resin should be scraped of as soon as possible to allow more to flow. wait too long and all you get is codine.

appitite...i was discribing heroine addiction. not pill popping. which BTW is still highly addicting. and nobody....NOBODY...'keeps' the upper hand on addiction.

It kind of makes me wonder how YOU know all this. I usually have something like a small needle to put the slice on them. Or lancing, whatever you'd like to call it. A knife can also work well. And then a spoon or butter knife to peel it off. Generally for best results, you only want to go in about as deep and a small part of your finger nail so that you don't screw up the Pod walls, where the seeds are. You can go in two deep and it will make all of it drain back down into the plant.

And you wouldn't want to go in to deep and kill the plant because it will produce until it decides to just die. Also, you don't water after the flower pedals have fallen off. I should have taken a picture of the flowers. They look and they feel, like pure silk. The pods are also good for food. As are the seeds.
