Just got word my daughters are ok and i'm thankful that i didn't get details yet. My daughters and their father had video tape it and their going to send a copy of it to me.

Hrmm, that storm sounds crazy. I'm hoping nothing happens to deb or anybody who has family/friends/loved ones there atm.

im glad they're ok cdkj! were lucky to live in a land where most structures stand against these storms. in china 115 people died and the winds were 100 mph.

this storm appears to be taking an unexpected course and i havn't been able to find updated info on it. its in the atlantic now. a pretty huge depression. bonnie a pretty hugh low pressure area itself has now stalled below NC. humm. hope the dont decide they like each other.
this is turning into one hell-atious hurricane season. three tropical storms all turning into hurricanes with a forth having formed off africa and expected to also become a hurricane when it reaches the carribian.
If it was up to me they would be grounded until their 30. one lives with her dad and the other is on her own.
The last i heard about the storm it's heading up my way as a tropical storm with 50mph winds
and it's surpose to hit tomorrow
Well, according to this -> http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics...F/141458W5.gif Tropical Depression Five should be here Tuesday at 8am, one day after the new president goes into office. By the time it gets here I suppose it'll be a tropical storm so shouldn't be anything bad. We'll just have to wait and see.
seems it made land fall again in SC with winds of 85 MPH and according to the national weather service map says it will park on my roof shortly before 8 am sun morning about an hour or so after it says hi to you cdkj.
this is really a nasty storm. a bunch of people in a trailer park near punta gorda ignored the warning and now a bunch of them are dead. some guy killed a young girl by being stupid enough to be driving a truck in it and a man was hit by a passing tree and killed while stepping out for a smoke ?!?
guess we can expect somemore senate hearings.
This one just missed me in NC, it went into SC We're still cleaning up from ALEX and last year it was Isabel. And looking down at the other low's and and TS's, guess I'll be busy again. Only been here for a little over a year, and already 2 direct hits and Charley was close. Price I pay for living on the beach I guess. It's getting old real quite though. Good luck to all in SC.
