I've been mentally defective ever since I worked stuffing
Envelopes for Gene McCarthy For president, in 1968.

In those days, being "anti-war" meant getting rid of the Liberal Democrat
sitting president, Lyndon Johnson, who was the main promoter of the war in Vietnam.

Lest anyone forget who the players are here, note the ironies of partisan
politicking on that war, apparently past but not forgotten.

I'm grateful to live in a place where mental defectives like me (who
unlike Kerry, have always been against the Vietnam war,
and unlike Bush, also against the present adventure)

I would vote for myself if I was on the ballot, but don't get me started.

Yeah, I'll prolly vote for Bush, but not for the reasons assumed by gay urban
sophisticates and whiney soccer moms. They say we're at war, but not yet,
not until a lot more US civilians are butchered by Arab madmen.

There was a Democrat in the White House when Pearl Harbor was attacked.
The Republicans did not blame Roosevelt for it. They swallowed their
partisan pride and did the right thing.

All these numbers and percentages confuse me. You forgot that three halves of all americans are bad with fractions :S, but I voted for clinton on this poll, the space aliens are already here, minus well elect one.

Personally, I just don't understand how anyone can like Bush. I hope that most of Bush's supporters are just lazy ass Americans that haven't researched the issues in this campaign, and not people that actually buy into his BS.

1. After 911 he turned an all time high in world sentiment towards the US into an all time low because he wanted to finish daddy's war. Don't buy into this weapons of mass destruction BS, or the war on terrorism BS. Keep in mind what Richard Clark told us (and he was appointed under a republican president): The Bush team decided they wanted to invade Iraq just weeks after getting into office.

2. Tax cuts for the rich. Didn't Reagan try trickle down economics? Yes, I believe he did. It didn't work back then, and it's not working now. The middle class of this country should stand up for themselves and demand that they not be trickled down on by the wealthy anymore.

3. Jesus. God damn holy Christ! I have never seen anything like it. Bush is a religious radical, and so are all of the henchmen that he appointed to his cabinet. If I hear GW talk about god or Jesus or souls in one more of his speeches I'm going to puke. I always love how former alcoholic drug addict DUI committing coke snorting draft dodging hicks become religious all of a sudden. They need a way to make themselves feel better for the shitty life they've lived, and they turn to religion to do it. It's pathetic. Our attorney general right now, John Ashcroft, is such a religious radical that he doesn't even dance with his wife, as he feels it's a sinful display of lust. They probably all have sex through a small hole in the sheets.

4. He wants to alter the constitution to limit rights for a segment of the US society for the first time in history. Personally, if he wants to alter it so gay's can't get married, he should alter it so celebrities can't get married either (goodness knows they don't do any justice to the "sanctity of marriage). They should alter it to prevent stupid hicks from Texas from getting married to mindless little kept women named Laura too.

5. He's stupid. I think candidates should submit themselves to a voluntary IQ test before they run for office, and let all of us know the results.

6. If reelected, he'll probably be appointing several new Supreme Court Justices. What does that mean? The woman's right to choose goes down the drain. Back to the archaic days of coat hangers and back alley slaughter houses.

7. Dick Cheney is the Antichrist. I'm shocked that all of the ultra religious hippies that kiss the current administration's butts can't recognize that yet.

8. He's CERTAINLY not fiscally conservative! Can you say all time highs in spending and deficits?

9. He's spending $10million / year along with John Ashcroft to fund a DOJ task force charged with putting an end to pornography. That's just not right.

10. He wanted to spend $1 BILLION to promote marriage. IMHO, the problem we have now is too many people are getting married too quickly to begin with. Spending tax money to buy television spots to convince even more people to tie the knot is stupid.

11. He thinks sex-ed should teach abstinence only. Also look at #6 above and #10 above. Apparently he wants a bunch of 16 year old mothers running around.

12. He's limiting funding on stem cell research which could lead to a cure of millions of people from horrible diseases. Why? Because Jesus spoke to him and told him to.

13. He appointed the minister that oversaw Ronald Reagan's funeral to become a US ambassador a week after it was over. Scary.

14. He uses some of the largest lobbyist for the manufacturing companies to help him develop environmental policy, and Dick uses the energy company lobbyist to help him develop our energy policy. Oh, neither of them will release the records from those meetings either, they're "privileged".

15. Donald Rumsfeld and his top brass were behind the torture techniques used to interrogate the prisoners in Iraq and everyone knows it. As always, they're letting the little guy take the fall for it. Ultra Conservative Religious Hippies should at least own up to their own actions.

17. If he's reelected, his brother Jeb will be running for president when he gets out of office. We must stop the Bush family effort to become a Monarchy!

I'm tired of typing this list, I could go on and on and these are just things off of the top of my head. There are many reputable websites that list his shortcomings rather thoroughly. I would urge people to research before they vote....

The problem where France is concerned too many Americains buy into Bushs hate France campaign. France might be the US's oldest ally but if we go by what seems to be the general feeling in the US they are its newest enemy and Why because France said no to Bush on Iraq.
