Interesting.... There's a dichotomy... He hates Bush but he likes America. Did you ask him why he hates Bush? Bearing in mind he has never met Bush, probably never had his young life affected by Bush but has probably heard lots of adults complaining about Bush.

OTOH, he likes Americans..... Hmmm.... Bush is an American... Bush was voted in by Americans, (lets not argue the point on that), but he separates the two.... A little odd isn't it...

Funnily enough, the country I have found to hate the Americans the most is America itself.....

When did president bush become america? He likes the americans he has met, but doesnt like george bush because of the hatred he has brought upon his people. Everyone over there absolutley despises the man. They have posters depiciting his death, etc etc. And Egyptians are nice people. Seriously. Very nice people. Before bush became president, hardly anyone in my town that i knew was blatantly racist against middle eastern people. Now, nearly everyone says **** like "those ****ing ragheads, or sand niggers" stupid idiotic **** like that. And they do this because Bush, whether you all like it or not, has made it sound to the lamen american person, that every muslim is a bad person. We intelligent folk definitley know that isn't true, but the general populous thinks the opposite. I promise that is a fact in my city.

Erok, old mate.... This is where you have to understand that there are two kinds of people.... The stupid and the smart..... The world is utterly separated down those lines and the spread is similar in every country. Unfortunately, the stupid outnumber the smart by about 5-10:1.

The dimwits that run around your town calling them all "ragheads" are in the group known as "stupid".... OTOH, there are plenty in arab countries that have a similar or lesser IQ. Unfortunately too, in many of the countries you discuss, you will find that many who have an IQ at a level that places them in the smart group are denied the education required to be able to fully utilize the gift.... Which means they end up being used. It's a common tactic in less well developed countries or in certain ideologies to keep the people uneducated because then they are easier to manipulate.....

Don't you find it "odd" that a child that has never met Bush _hates_ him.... But he likes Americans? I do.... It doesn't make sense.....

Tiger I have always considered you a friend, friends do throw names and such at one another all of the time. I am not going to let your ranting bother me. I am better than that. As for being a Bush supporter I am sorry you feel that way. I am not, nor will I ever be, a supporter of any Bush. As for the hatred of other countries towards the US, if it wasn't Bush who caused most of it then who was it?

Yes, I do think Bush is "righter" than the potential replacement... I don't agree with all the right wing stuff.... But I will always stand _utterly_ with a strong defense, a strong offense and believe that those who would appease should get out of the way..... before they get us all trampled by the enemy....

I've never met George Bush...I do despise him, though. Not as a person maybe, but I think a lot of things his term has done have done nothing but hurt the US. So I can say...I love America, I hate George Bush, and you can't tell me I'm wrong. Little kids sometimes have more intuition than 'dults give them credit for and their understanding is simple and sweet.

I live in Mexico now, people don't like him here, I can say that as a fact, or atleast say that the relatively small sampling of people I come in contact with in one of the northern states of Mexico don't like him. My sister lives in Uden, people don't like him there, according to her. I'm from PA, most of my friends there don't like him, either.

Defense is always key...offense is another matter. This may be going off on another tangent, but, the US never defined it's enemy! From the abstract ideal of terrorism to a CIA trained camel jockey to a devistated third world country? Please allow me to get out of the way!

I can see your points Tiger, coming from GB, but this is America...we've been lucky enough to avoid direct involvement in any kind of 'outside' terrorism, barring our own screwed up problems. We've, once again become involved in another country's affairs that we have no buisness being a part of. You could argue my points, but America's founding forefathers agree with me. Maybe it's isolationism, but in the words of Jefferson, "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.". Looks like we've been entangled again, and this one is more of a drain than any of the previous entanglements we've been enganged in.

As far as the whole, "I've seen it first hand" thing, I say HAH!! Neg, imo, is entirely correct, we may be given facts by the media in our country, but our media puts a spin on it that makes our decisions the right ones, even when we're totally in the wrong. Foreign media may only be going off of the facts that the US releases....but atleast they have people willing to get on the tube and say what could really be happening and thinking about the issue instead of blindly following a 2 minute blurb (btw, PBS is a wonderful source of information...ie "Face The Nation", it should be KERA for you Neg) on CNN.

So the world hates George Bush because he went after 2 enslaving regimes? So be it. I have a very good friend who fought on the Egyptian side of the War with Israel. He doesn't hate America but he sure the hell hates Israel since he had to pick up dead bodies of his brothers (abi meaning)) and put them on a cart when he was a kid. He loves America even though we side with Israel most of the time.

In fact I don't know where you were in Egypt er0k but like America, you have people who love and people who hate different things. In fact on the streets of Paris you will see class struggle that "doesn't exist" with people hating all walks of life that doesn't fit their limited world view, same with London. I too am guilty, I hate men who INTENTIONALY murder children behind masks, but I don't think all Muslims are bad. If I did I would hate the whole Middle East, except Egypt of course. Heck even here you can go down to Georgia or Mississippi and find a white child who hates "Nigger's" and a black child who wants to kill the little "Cracker" down the street. And you can ask these haters why they feel that way and you know what, the all answer with the same thing, over and over. Tiger is right, people are stupid. Actually I prefer misguided and that includes every nation of some reasonable size where it's difficult to mold and control the entire society. America IS the only country full of contempt for itself.

Thankfully the world cannot vote on the U.S. Presedential election.

When you think about it the world has voted many times on many issues, by representation at the United Nations. And what has that brought the world.

12 years of Saddam Hussein ignoring UN sacnctions.

Most of the major countries taking part in the UN receiving kickbacks in oil from Iraq by way of illegal weaponry and military electronic equipment sales.

A war that the U.S. has to primarily finance due to the corrupt UN countries trying to protect financial interests in Iraq.

Foreign news channels that spew hatred towards the U.S. President by falling in line with their government's "opinion" of the U.S. led coalition into Iraq. And this due to their respective Government's greedy and underhanded desire to line their pockets.

We've let the world vote, and typically it results in attempts to discredit the U.S. in some fashion or form. Luckily I am an American that is eligible to vote for our President.
