Me, about to snap: You ****, Gentoo hasn't pioneered anything but installations which should be dragged outside and shot in the head! The Portage system was a rip off of Free BSD, and the whole damned OS is Free BSD with a Linux Kernel, and if it's so much better why are there 5 security flaws a week in it? Portage was taken from Free BSD, the boot up screen was taken from SUSE, and you put 100% extra work into getting a 3 % performance increase that still can't run faster than Free BSD on FFS, you're an *******, Gentoo is stupid and should have stayed at being nothing but a File Manager, and Slackware can be used the exact same way, AND BEFORE YOU START FREE BSD DID NOT ****ING WORK WITH GENTOO AND SAY IT WAS OK BECAUSE FREE BSD AND BSDi ARE IN WITH SLACKWARE LINUX.

So you see my annoyance level in talking about Gentoo users.
Some of the Gentoo people here may have remembered a discussion on the Gentoo baords where they were going too have a Gentoo party, and they were not sure where too have it at, at which point I replied "How about you try going too Hell, and taking Gentoo with you?"
That one got me kicked off ;)

Don't bother, you won't see much. I can install a nice expert mode Slackware Linux using both CD-ROMS in 12 minutes. I timed myself, top that.
