1. Post in multiple programming languages
2. Show three line number styles: none, simple and fancy using CSS. Well the css is dynamically generated which usefuless is debatable.
3. Can add other languages using multi dimensional arrays using predefined functions and constants in the index.php (or whatever you call the highlighter app in which case you add it in a plug in's folder somewhere in your app tree).
There are still bugs and some highlighting methods are still messy as you probably have seen. This does not use database connectivity, and you may need to make your own database queries to store any results or make your own pastebin-like program.
There is another problem. How many pastebin like programs are there on the Internet? It may have been pretty dumb to make another one.
What does it have to do with this thread? Nothing at all except it can be.
