I, too, wish everyone the best of luck. My prayers are with you as well. When you can, make sure you update us on the status of the situation. Don't go to great lengths though.. we're not THAT important :)

Me and mine are fine...windy, rainy, just starting to pick up right now, but things are fine. We're out of the danger zone though, there are others who are really going to have a bad night tonight, and a bad day tomorrow. Pray for them.
Yeah, it didn't affect us that much. Small winds/rain but it slammed into Pensacola from what I've heard.
Yeah, it must be bad if today's weather is "not applicable"................here is a link to the doppler radar:

You can see the bad stuff just to the north of Pensacola. At least it lost some steam before it landed..........went down to level 3 I believe.
I think that flooding is likely to be a big risk right now. When these things degenerate, they dump an awful lot of water.
Good luck to all involved
I had a hurricane party last night... We were all in Gulfport FL, right next to St. Petersburg...
10 foot beer bong, 3 foot bud bong...
Best hurricane ever.
 Wow, definitely sounds like a natural disaster there d0pp. :D Anyways, I'm just glad that the first hurricane of the season barely touched our area. :)Quote:

I'm glad Dennis missed us, we had already bought Tape and food when it was going through Puerto Rico thinking it was gonna come here before the supermarkets got crowded. When I saw the hurricane map that morning that it was under us I was soo happy :P
EDIT: I Shouldn't get TOO exicited; Emily is threatning us now http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/storm_graphi...025734W_sm.gif
Btw, for those who don't know hurricanes are named alphabetically (Dennis, Emily next one will start in F)
Yeah, I was checking out the deal with Tropical Storm Emily. They don't think it's coming towards Florida, so.. :D
Hah...way too early to tell. About Friday, we'll have a better idea.Quote:

Where is the recurve?
Europe is pretty starved of rainfall right now, we need these storms..............AFAIK there has only ben one hurricane that reached us with enough "spit" to cause any serious damage, and that was back before the AWI :D
