When I was a kid, I did not waste my money on buying books if I could swap them with friends, or borrow them from the library.
Just travel on public transport today and see how many youngsters are reading anything, let alone a book!.................they are all p1$$1ng around with text messages on their mobiles or playing games on their palmtops :D

Lets see I was about harry's age in the first book when i read my first book. Now for some reason or another rowling does not produce a book a year im 18 now....
I do believe that this is true for a lot of people.
