linksys?
i know with linksys routers the default stuff is
admin:admin *i belive*
its a combo of
username:admin/administrator
password:*none*/admin/administrator
i know that is for routers... but linksys might try uniformity amongst there products.. would certainly be easier
Ive already tried all the default type passwords:
admin:admin
administrator:administrator
admin:none
root:root
etc.
No dice. I have John the ripper working away at it, so far its been 17 hours, we will see how it goes.

I'd give Brutus a try, like they said. Generally it takes too long to be of use, but it’s you box on you local lan so what the hell. One of my older videos (Pre Flash) shows how to use it:

Oh believe me Irongeek, Im no stranger to your videos! Finding a windows box is a little tougher though....

Anyway, still running, will keep it running until it cracks or my system has to be shutdown.

EDIT: Stupid me didn't save the session so when my system locked up, had to start over...grrr
