Video games don't make kids violent and I'll kill anyone who says differently. ;) :D
Seriously, though, I don't believe violent video games have had any significant impact on my aggression. I've played FPS's and the like since age 11ith (I'm now 18) and have yet to ever be in a fight. (I have had to walk away twice, though, because I knew I was too mad to stay where I was.) Several of my friends who aren't gamers who have gotten into several fights in their youth.
I think the environment a kid is raised in, the kid's moral values, and the kid's self control make a far more significant impact on a kid than some pixels on a screen.
