Just because you can do something doesn't always mean you should.
In this particular case, I think discretion would have been the better part of valor.

So much for "free markets"; "democracy"; "freedom of speech"; and "capitalism", eh America? You hypocrites.
You allow AIG, CitiBank, Lehman Bros and Goldman Sachs to drain the savings accounts of your citizens; you let the banks swarm like locusts over the homes of your citizens - foreclosing at record speeds; you kidnap and torture innocent people.
Then, when someone shines a light on you - you use all your might to destroy the person. Free country. What a joke.
The American government has no credibility to speak from a position of 'morality' or 'superiority'.
couldnt have said it better myself

I've downloaded three files pertaining to 9/11 (debunking conspiracy theories
is my hobby) and none were encrypted. Wikileaks is in possession of a great
deal of data. It is mind-boggling, and in fact most is being withheld from
release. It's the unreleased files that are probably encrypted "insurance".
The whole issue of Wikileaks' documents, or are they US gov't property still?, is
getting deeper as demonstrated by this headline from the Washington Post:
Job hunters should steer clear of WikiLeaks site
Dont underestimate your government brokencrow

Stop scaring me MLF. I have enough trouble getting to sleep at night as it is. I imagine if any one of us knew exactly what the government was really up to, someone would find us hunkered down and quivering in a corner. I think it is very telling that Obama reversed most of his privacy/civil liberties stances as soon as he got into office. Think warrantless wiretapping...
Sorry don't mean to scare anyone......but the truth will set you free!!
Information wants to be free-Stewart Brand
Power to the people....thats what a democracy is all about....and that is what the founding fathers of your country fought for when they stood against the tyranny of the British monarchy.

Of all the super-dooper seceret documents I've read, none have been more boring than these released on wikileaks. It was basicly a decade-wide archive of AP/CNN/msnbc/BBC footage. I don't get why people have made such a spin around this guy either.
That's the nature of power. Power excludes love.
And that's why Fate herself placed Canada just to our
north. So we could find refuge. That, and the fishing.
Speaking of refuge, you couldn't help me out with that,
could you? I promise I won't stay at your place for more
than six months. Honest.
I HATE wikileaks
Look, if you leak information to an intelligence agency, its treason
leaking stuff to wikileaks is no different than leaking information to the KGB
and since the CIA would attempt take down the KGB, the CIA should attempt take down Wikileaks
People who bitch and whine clearly didn't read the documents to begin with. Its pretty much an affirmation of what everyone has been complaining about in Afghanistan and Iraq. Nothing more, nothing less.
Like I said, its nothing you haven't seen in the news over the last decade. You're going to be really disappointed if you expect something from a James Bond movie, "Tyrant". Nice name by the way... faggot.
