I have a question. I received a nice little NEG for the post above (this thread), from a member which I will refrain from naming. All the NEG said was "Why?" My PM response was "Why what?" Now I'm wondering if anyone here can figure this one out. For what reason would someone NEG this post. Since the solutions I offered are not erroneous, that cannot be what has flown up the AO members butt. That leaves me with receiving a NEG for voicing my opinion, which I thought we did not do around her, unless it violated the tennants under which AO is operated. I don't mind getting NEGS if they are justified, but this seems extremely petty to me. Do you guys agree with my assessment or am I just unusually cranky today? (probably the latter) :D
I'm not trying to whine here, rather my intent in throwing this out is for general discussion, especially where newer members may be reading this thread but have previously ignored the thread on the AO Points System.

Yeah I agree Negative/Cybr1d, I generally do ignore the trash dots. Even though it's more annoying than all get out. I think that if I NEG back, mine would hold a bit more weight, but that wouldn't be the correct thing to do. Whishful thinking!

I really commented more for, shall we say "educational purposes," for the newbies. Hoping that they might take the time to read the applicable threads before assigning APs.
Same thing happened here, although it doesn't really affect anyone with 11 green dots. I could find a post by the user in question and neg them but it's really not worth it. I can't be bothered to lower myself to their level of childishness, tempting though it is sometimes.

I only lost something like 5 ap's. I just figured it was either SBG's double, a friend of SBG's or someone who didn't like the thread. If they did it again, I may Neg them for playing with AP's but it didn't do any damage and I'm sure I could let this one slip. If anyone one was hit too bad, I'll make it up for them...

Quad really didn't say "Hey, I'm a girl" but making it seem like he was prevented him from being banned so fast. Which is kind of pathetic if you think about it. He acts the same with this account as he does with others, only this one had boobs, so no one wanted to neg that girl making a goofy face in his profile. He already listed a few of the messages he got from people here coming on to him.
I didn't come onto Quad for the record lol. I did call her a bitch, I think. Anyway, I don't think Quad is a bad guy, he likes to have fun here like he remembers doing before people voted him off the island. I've talked to him on IRC, and on here, and been flamed by him a few times, but it doesn't matter. Man it's early.... I went to bed around 4 AM, got up at 8 AM, and now I'm getting ready for work. And I just got an e-mail saying my Novell software has been shipped :) Ordered it and of course got my e-mail saying they recieved the order a minute later, and now it's on it's way here. Woot! SUSE Server 8 and a bunch of software (About 10 GBs of it) free!
