I think you have a point here Tiger. At least according to the U.N. If i remember correctly the U.N. told us that lazer weapons employed on the battlefield would cause permanent blindness to the enemy, and thus their employment during a battle would be inhumane. So we just blow up the enemy instead. Somehow this does not really equate though. :DQuote:

Damage the enemy in the greatest way you can. If you can't kill them then disable them in the most effective way possible.... If removing their limbs is not possible remove ther ability to target and track your own forces in any way you can.... Start with their radar, move to the optical devices, then break their binoculars and finally, if it still doesn't prevent them from defending themselves.... blind the little buggers..... All pretty simple... and humane too... we keep warning them with "subtle" little details but they won't stop foxxing with us..... OK... fine... "goodbye".... <LOL>
What's become ridiculous is that we have become so "civilized" that we can be in conflict with people who will 'capture' civilians, (Note: they don't very often take on the military face to face... *cough* cowards), and video themselves cutting their heads off and broadcast it to the world.... According to the media... That's OK.... But heaven forbid, (turn of phrase), that we should pile a few naked men on top of each other..... That's disgusting.....
