OK, "perfect" didn't mean absolutely without fault or incapable of improvement. It meant as in Mercury-would-be-too-hot-and-Pluto-would-be too-cold kind of perfect. Our world has many flaws quite apart from environmental, but when all's said and done, it is still a beautiful place. Read some of the astronauts comments ..... they describe earth shining "like a jewel in space" and several who were not previously religiously moved, have come back from these expeditions to the Moon intensely affected by it.
