The good thing about chihuahuas is that they are very territorial. Nothing will get past their little line of demarcation and live.
A bad thing would be that they would see skunks as fair game and there is no way you can move fast enough to stop your chihuahua from getting nailed.
I live where skunks are rare. Cats, though, wander around here pretty regularly. My chihuahua took out after this big one the other night. Cat was about twice the size of the dog. But, little chihuahua kept the cat on the road and off his sidewalk!
My dog is a Full grown yellow lab. Pretty dog, but stinky. lol
I would much rather have more cats than skunks. lol
Cats are cool but not when they use you as their own personal pin cushion or a scratching post.
