On about the same day that this ******* started this thread, I posted a very nice, no flame topic about people exactly like this.
I tried to explain the sentiment here and a little about the etiquette that is expected.

I dont really blame you for wanting to "hack school", cause it's one of my
favorite things to do in computer class. I love showing stupid sys-admins
that they arent so smart after all, but you shouldn't go around saying
"Teach me to hack"
You should have a good all-around understanding of computers before you
do any hacking related ****... That is, if you dont want ppl making fun of you.
Question: Do you even know what ms-dos is? If not, find out.

You want to "Hack" a school computer? okay, i went through this stage a few years ago when i was in school, yes we managed to get the root password, and we caused some damage, Wow. After we did it, we realised how stupid it was and i learnt a great deal about moral, and ethnical practice from it. think before you go damaging others property, especially if it can effect tho work of other pupils in your school, and sorry for me being such a boring old ****. If you want something fun, get linux, learn C++ or perl or some other launguage.
I agree with you, V-Manifest. Cracking does give you a momentary thrill of excitement, up until you get caught and realize what a stupid mistake you made. Programming, on the other hand, takes dedication. Once you write a successful program, you are very proud of your new creation. And best of all, you can tell EVERYONE (including the cops) about your program, and NOT GET BUSTED! Try doing that after cracking the school network. Bet you'll be real nice and comfy sitting around wishing that you could get a real education but can't, all because you thought it would be cool to be a kewl h3x0r.

Good observation Ennis, I was going to post about the same thing, you just posted it first...it is sad and ironic, how a young child who probably isn't even out of middle school yet thinks he's some elite super-h4x0r.
*sighs*...The exiting part is that he probably wont ever find out. He has no strive for knowledge, nothing pushing him to finish what he started. I'm sure he doesn't even own a programming language yet. I just hope that something good will come out of this S-12. But sadly, I doubt it. If anything good comes out of it, it will be you recognising your senceless act of unmoral and unethical properties. You'll go on learning, take a different path, learn to read and get information on your own. You'll hold ethics...you won't brag about your recent security flaw you found by yourself and helped patch. You will become elite.
On the other hand, you might just stay where you are. Having lame signitures, making people think your elite when your not. Your going to forget what Google can do for you, if you've even used it before. Things will become boring, and you will quit using the computer altogether besides the fact that you get daily pornography sent to your on-line mailbox everyother day. Such a pity, such a waste of knowledge. And all you wanted to do was brag to your friends, and you couldn't even finish that...
As others have said.... this site is for the purpose of learning... it is an exchange of information... our intent here is not to aid you or others in illegal activities. besides.... hacking your school because your teachers are stupid isn't really all that great of an idea. furthermore, since you are a newbie, i'll let you in on this little secret.... there is a responsibility that comes with the knowledge that hackers possess. that responsibility is to not abuse that power that they are so priviledged to possess. there is an ethical obligation that we possess. please try to remember that.Quote:
