I'm not sure exactly what I want to say here... I'm pretty emotional tonight, but I know that I hope for the best for you RA...
I haven't been here at AntiOnline that long, but I already feel like I belong, and that people here are sort of like family... it's a great community, and I just feel horrible when I hear that someone in it is in legal trouble. I was advising a friend recently (who has been charged with exactly the same thing as you RA, although in Canadian terms...) and he's had his court date remitted for about 6 months now, we still don't know the outcome. The police seized what they valued at over $21,000 (CDN) in Marijuana. However, what they seized was leaves and stems in garbage bags. What I advised him to do was tell the police that he had just removed it from a nearby field (where wild weed grows) - that way, they'd just think that he was a dumb@$$ instead of a dealer.
So far, it's got him through. But I doubt it would work in your case. All the advice I can give you is this:
1) Don't do **** like this again. No offense whatsoever, I believe that people have a right to control their own lives, but it's not worth it - we need you here too much.
2) Go with God when you walk into that courtroom. He has saved me more times than I can count.

Dont you love drug related charges. They tell you to come in one day for court and then reschedule it again for another day and then you go that day and they reschedule it again. Finally you get your final court date they give you a year ACD a $500 fine and then go to rehab
You do the rehab thing and graduate to get out of court and then the day you graduate you say " I dont need ( your drug of choice here ) " and " im in control of my own life " but then about a week maybe sooner / later you decide what the hell whats one ( your drug of choice here ) and then the next thing you know your out buying / selling it again and then catch another bust and go back to court to get it rescheduled over and over again get you probation / fine or whatever and then go back to rehab.
What is the moral of the story: Your not going to jail so dont sweat it , compensate the state for you doing drugs ( wich you should be able to do , you can go to war and die for your country but you cant touch a certain plant cause "they" tell you that you cant ) by paying your stupid fine ( wich by the way is the whole reason for it being illegal $$$$$ ) go to rehab and then from there its up to you
Bit of advice --- allready be in rehab by your next court date it will help / If you dont have a job get one before the next date it will help / If you never finished high school sign up for your GED . If you do this trust me you will not see a day in jail, your ACD / Probation will be lowered and your fine well they will still rape you on the fine but 2 out of three aint bad

Well I have never spent any time in the "slammer" as you hard criminal-types might call it. Firstly, you were in for some violent-type behaviour if I am to believe your earlier posts. Well then, I'm afraid to say, but you deserve everything that you get. You have repeatedly performed the same crime with clearly no remorse or moral conscience. Then with RA. I think your main problem is your sense of timing. If you had of gotten arrested with "it" maybe two years down the line, you would get nothing. I don't what the court's stance on pot is over there, but over here in Ireland and in the UK, it's is barely even a criminal offence. Well, the way things are going, it won't be a criminal offence.
I have no sympathy for dealers of hard drugs, but being caught with pot is completely different. It's just bad luck.
