Satanism is not a religion, it's an UNreligion.
Satanists do not believe in the existance of Gods, The Divinity
of the Bible, Angels, Heaven or Hell, The Devil, Satan, Spirits, Demons,...
Satanists do not hold belief in supernatural beings. Period.

Satanists are not 'Devil' worshippers (The Greek word 'diabollus' means 'great deceiver', everything a Satanist opposes to). Satan comes from Hebrew 'an opposer'.

The Roman god Lucifer (from Latin lux=light, and ferre=to bring) was the bearer of light, the personification of enlightenment. In Christian mythology he became synonymous with evil, the fallen angel. In the Bible (Isaiah 14:12-15), the King of Babylon is referred to as Lucifer. Satanists refer to Lucifer in the original meaning of the word.

The being Satan is the scapegoat / invention of Christians and monotheistic dualistic
theories, and not a real being.

The belief that "Satan, The Dark Lord" (and therefor a real
entity) is the strongest of two (good and evil) forces, or the evil component of a cosmic
dualistic battle, is devil-worshipping, and has got nothing in common with satanism.

To make things short: there's a huge difference between satanists and devil worshippers...

Just a note... Have any of you bible-believers (please take no offense) ever thought that maybe, just maybe, the Bible was written by some drunken poor man with nothing better to do? Negative, thanks for the proper definition. It'll be funny telling my friends that I'm a satanist... Hehe.

since you ask, i'm a bible-follower, though i don't take it all as literal - half the time it advocates selling your daughter for prostitution etc! however...it doesn't really matter what state the guy who wrote it was in, it's still endorsing admirable virtues as i think i pointed out earlier; if you adhere to the principles of love and respect then obviously you will live a pretty contented life! i do anyway, and i'm speaking on behalf of the bible-followers you addressed...! :D

Hi phly,
Well, if it was written by a drunken man, he was drunk for an awfully long period of time. And we lived a really long time too. The Bible was written (through the inspiration of God's Spirit of course) over a period of at least several hundred years. Also, there were many different writers.

This subject has been bothering me as well for a long time. I have read many ideas on the inthernet, many guides saying that they proved that "God" did not exist. Everyone had their own thought.
My self I do not believe in god or any religion.

hmm if you stop a moment and think about it. Any time something goes wrong a nation goes in the bad way this "god" shows up and creates a holy "man". Read the last part again. Shows up when something is screwed. Now that is kinda tricky don't you think?
When arabs are going in the wrong way; killing little kids, raping each other and so. Suddenly this man comes out. Can't be he just a "robot" controlled by some other people so the arab nation changes their way of life?
No offense to other people but I think god is just another bed time story just to scare kids off and try to control them.

One question (take no offense, please): How can you know that it was written over hundreds of years? If that's true... then maybe he had little drunken poor kids who continued to write it lol :)

Well seems to me in age as I have more behind me then before. Think of the concept a all knowing creator or GOD. Would you trust your knowldege with one race of people, common sense says we our selves do not trust all about us we trust only some people with partial knowledge of what makes us tick? Why would any God have any less task after all the common thread is we are apart of him in our own langusge and culture, called many things or nothing at all. No one is fully right can never be it is bound by our language and culture, and none is wrong either bound for the same reasons. The spirit however has one voice and even it is called many things in many languages, get to the heart of it learn and do not impose your view belief, seek to understand the way of the spirit talking, it is then you hear the voice of God it is called the spirit and voice of hummanity. My slant, 9/11 me I seek to fully understand yet in many ways do how a people could grow to hate us so much. In it all however thre is no honor, morals, or ethics in hidding ones acts. If one cannot clearly through what ever means say what one person, tribe, or nation has so offended looking at them face to face then well like out here it becomes a free for all. To me all this relates to hacking, cracking etc... out here did not invent me I brought whom I am here, respect cultures, people, ideas, was the point of it all. Security is knowing whom is doing what and why, God or the Creators, Ala, field is reach it is the human race.
