Well going to first off say the start of the thread is a very wrong conception, not only in every aspect of humanity, but cutura wise a rather old uninformed anology. First of men did not hunt to impress women they did support their family/tribe, dah go figure the did it to feed them, as did the woman and her tasks, and the children, after all took 1/2 the year to survive the other 1/2 of the year. Second the strong did survive, but it included women so well all the strutting was not for show and tell. Ethics played a strong role, men did not father children to abandom them through lack of support as they knew they would preish, as the mother would not abandon the father if he was injured or ill the family depended upon everyone, these famalies became tribes, and then together as we are now connected are called humanity. A cracker is a shadow in the night, a skinwalker, who uses deception, to a selfish advantage, how's acts ends justify their means. Strenght is standing in the open stating what you believe and in life getting knocked back a few times. Strenght is in being human, having compassion and understanding, sypathy. Don't kill it if you won't grill it (Ted Nugent), strength vis not a pure physical act, strength is an act of the total person and their spirit. Sorry you got the illusion of yourself as some master mind then in my life I've seen a few Stalin, Hilter, then strong men King, Kennedy...power and strenght are two different items and last I looked making a kill digitally is still easy if one is out look to prey upon systems. Dah go figure
Oh and I'm gonna give a neg point on this, was good Darwin thing really that is a true statement, but the neg comes from the fact that the rest is not true and a keen mind would know a bit of social, moral, tribal, culture things. Yeah fit survive cause we are strong we keep all those thing alive through generations, ,morals, ethics, responsibility, support of our family and community. i would just like to comment on Darwinism...we have effectivly ended darwinism as humans(for us anyway, it might still work in animals).
this can be shown by the fact that the most inteligent(that being argueably the MOST usefull trait now) men do not attract women based only on thier inteligence. for the most part in my experiance the ladies go more for the guys they think are "hot" and those people tend to be on the average and down side of inteligence(obviously with some exceptions). infact, i myself have a GF, but not because i am smart, but because when she saw me she thought i was "hot"(i dunno...she's got wierd taist in guys or something :-P). that is what attracted her to me, and when i ask her now what really sealed the deal she answers my "personality"...inteligence is never even mentioned, and she certianly never mentions that i could "r00t h3r b0x3n" as an attractive aspect(well...not the "clean" definition anyway:-D)
In fact, it may be that partnerships are chosen on the basis of subconscious pheromonal cues that are related to various immune system classes...
IMO it isn't realistic, but it is funny. You can't have it BOTH that females have an instinctual need for good providers, AND that they are able to complete override instincts to the degree that lets them choose what a 'good provider' is using solely their frontal lobes.... This goes for men too, etc etc etc.
That, and don't forget the classic dilemma. I don't believe this entirely myself, but the classical oversimplified arguement goes like this:
Men want to spread their genes, which means lots of women.
Women want strong men, who will tend to spread their genes a lot (nice euphamism there...), but they also want one that will STAY and be a provider.
Women can't have it both ways, and men can't both be promiscuous and faithful.
Therefore there is conflict as each struggles with different strategies of reproduction.
Pure Un-proven-and-un-supportable theory follows.
As for humans stopping to evolve... nah. What's happening is that our evolutionary path is currently (perhaps dead-ending, like ants) in an emphasis on social evolution rather than biological evolution. Instead of having 'what we are' change, we are having 'what we do' change. Eventually we'll get stymied in one way or another (such as evolving into a single psionic organism? nah.) and natural selection will find some other way to express itself.
And we still have small-scale evolution, such as immune systems, dietary stuff, etc. We're running a whole bunch of diverse genes into a single population with globalization, but I bet that in a few hundred years, mild racism (of the whom-I-will-marry-type) will be back on the upswing, seperating the population. After than, vice versa, so on and so forth. It creates various gene ponds which all go through different situations, and then the globalistic gene pool when they all meet gives the new-and-good genetic types a chance to spread out a bit and see how they work in the next round of scattering...

There's always something sexy about a chick that knows lots of technical stuff. Every single girl in the computer science department had a boyfriend, regardless of how attractive she was in other respects. And if she broke up with said boyfriend, then she was going out with someone else in under two weeks. I don't claim to understand it, I just know it happens.
I would love to find a "chick hacker", she should probably understand me and my passion for computers, and probably find my apartment look like "computer heaven" :D.Quote:
