Filtering the propaganda

We can listen too or watch people knock our government and our way of life, give their side of a story and tell us why they think were right or wrong all without censor, as long as its not advocating the violent overthrow of the government.

As for the screwed up morallity, thats is an issue we need to strighten out. the fcc is just enforcing the moral code we, (the collective american) ourselves have set down. The only real censorship is if it sells or not. If no one will pay for ad spots it dosn't get aired. Big buisiness decides what we see during prime time based on its popularity but there are still the small private concerns that address fringe thinkers. If the idea builds interest the big boys pick it up.

Hkhmm. I personally have no muslim friends, I do not come from Middle East and still I disapprove the arrogance of the U.S. government, its politics towards third world countries (oh well, add first and second), the onslaught of the American culture (hmmm... i probably meant showbusiness), economic invasionism, etc.

America is a prosperous country, lucky you. Many others feel, that its success comes on the
expense of the others. And lets face it -- they have good reasons to think so. Consider the
environmental issues for one...

You want others to fight you or join you? Forget it. Why fight? Join? You're very
kind, but no thank you. Ah, don't push us... We have values... Good values. You want to
take those from us? And you expect us to obey?

You want to spread American values? Well... I suppose you really want the best. But...
It's great there's America but I don't think American values are universal. And so do
the muslims and the buddhists to name a few. I'm sure you have heard this before.

You think there's nothing wrong with the propaganda? There is. You are so sure, that YOU
have the truth. Not always. You make mistakes. And you try to cover it up. You even lie,
(cause, after all, YOU have the truth). But they are not naive. And they are suspicious.
You make things worse... (Well, not necessarily, but I've seen it happen again and again.
I'm sorry to say, but Americans often underestimate their audience... please don't, you'd get more respect.
And perhaps, you values would gain much more positive attention. Still I'm saying -- they do not always fit.)

When it comes to a bloodshed, all above is irrelevant. When "they kill our brothers" and
"you're with them", you're the enemy. They're humans. They feel pain, they feel humiliation.
They do not ask, which one of you did it to them (they do not even ask, who shoot first).
And they come to kill you to pay back. Or to show you, what you have done to them.
And you feel humiliation and pain, and at your moment of despair you're ready to nuke them.

You think they are evil. They think you are evil. That's not a good start.
