games from your youth

I was a huge fan of lucasarts' graphic adventure games: Monkey Island 1 and 2, Indy and the fate of atlantis, sam and max, etc. There aren't many games now that i like as much as those...

I was also a huge fan of zelda, contra, mario bros for NES.

Excite bike, 720, super mario 2, ninja turtles. God those were good games.

In middle school all we cared about was street fighter. Then mortal combat came along. I didn't like it as much though.

I remember when I was around 10 or 11 all I cared about was getting a power glove. begged and begged and finally got it for christmas. IT SUCKED. didn't work for crap. ended up just wearing it and using the regular control pad it had.

i loved the ninja turtles on game boy and genesis ... played them soo often
later with the first pc we rocked summer games and winter games!!! (still unbeatable)
then ofcourse wolfenstein with all its patches ... and for sure we tried doom : )
loved Leisure Suite Larry 1-x .... gonna make a bootdisk for my dc with this game ^^
all sierra games kind of roc ... indiana jones ...
of coure the Keen series and ... hmhmhm ....erik the vikinger were really kewl

its really sad when i look at the games they are releasing these days .... : (
those classics wont be beaten any more ... the less possibilitys for graphics and mhz they had .. the more creative they workd

My first games were on my sinclair spectrum many many years ago. I remember the game rommel, barbarian, invaders. Then on commodore games like commandos, california games, international karate 1, 2, and +. Also games like pitstop 1. Then when msdos came out, i played leisure suit larry 1, space quest, police quest, DOT (day of the tentacle --awesome game) ;) Until the win times came up such as C&C, warcraft, xfiles, etc...... Now i only play PS2 games since i dont have a win box anymore.

I was major video game fanatic as a kid. Hmmm, what do I remember playing?

Super Mario Bros., The Legend Of Zelda, Ninja Gaiden series (those cut scenes were so l33t)...

The on the 386 I loved the Ultima series. I played them all night long. Ultima 6 and Martian Dreams.... Wolfenstein was cool too.
