hrmm I never installed nmap in windows, so i wouldn't know.
But try to search for the application or executable file in those dirs. Mostly the executable in the main dir of an installation and mostly has the name of the program.
Hope this helps,

so basicly your(RiOtEr) "mini tutorial" is a copy and paste from the Rosie magazine, wow informativeQuote:
RiOtEr
The result of running nmap is usually a list of interesting ports on the machine(s) being scanned (if any). The state is either "open", "filtered", or "unfiltered". Open means that the target machine will accept connections on that port. Filtered means that a firewall, filter, or other network obstacle is covering the port and preventing nmap from determining whether the port is open. Unfiltered means that the port is known by nmap to be closed and no fire wall/filter seems to be interfering with nmap's attempts to determine this.
*sigh*
Then write one better than mine.
Damn Hoss I was fukin with RiOtEr!!!! Your tut is quality **** though I printed it out and I plan on selling it to some of my newbie friends! I would never jank on a Senior Network Security Engineer with a skill set like yours believe me bra!
Sorry. It sounded like you were pointing out the one paragraph I paraphrased out of the pages of tutorial material I have posted on NMAP so far. My mistake - I apologize.

Cool, can't wait for my subscripton to arrive.... Prolly have some stuff about how to stealth scan the blond at the end of the bar, how to idle host scan your hubby to see if he's cheating on you and that, huh? ;)
Ignore the "white noise" and get back to the keyboard please....... ;)
