Using the term newbie quite often shows that you play too many computer games online. Using the word hacking in reference to what you're trying to learn...is the complete opposite of what it means. You should consider yourself more of a script kiddie. A hacker is someone who has mastered a skill, have it be computer/programming, dentist, doctor, Carpenter. (Hope u get my point) I'm guessing you're 14-17 years old who's interested in security. This is a good website to start with...but your best bet would be to read a lot of books, including "Hack this" "Hacker's Challenge" "Hacking Exposed" and any other reading materials you can find. AO will not teach you how to hack, instead it will teach you how to defend yourself.
