eork, if i may remind you that after 911 bush named the five countries that were supporting and harbouring terrorists. afganistan, iraq, lybia, iran and N. korea. he vowed to put and end to it and the whole nation was behind him, (that is until the libs started using the defense of our way of life as a political issue) they were all plotting to destroy our way of life to preserve their own bronze age existance. we went into afganistan, then iraq. lybia basically surrendered because they saw he meant business. now we have iran in our sights. its still political but we will act if they dont give in. so were have we been deceived.
think of the logistics. could we take iran without taking iraq first? could we fight n korea with the other four at our back. iran calls us the great satan and will have nukes in a year or two if they are not stopped. n. korea supplies weapons to terrorist groups around the world.
this isnt a beauty pagent coming up, we only really have two choices. wasting a vote to voice objection is not an option. i really dont think kerry has what it takes to get the job done while bush really has remained on course like he promised. there have been many thing that blame could be tossed around for but that can't be helped in any major operation. if you want to see screw-ups and bad calls look at WWII.
