C-b, are you trying to become an electrical engineer? Terms sound oh so familiar, of course that's when I used to sleep on my brothers couch when he was in college studying for an electrical engineer degree. He makes around 73 thousand a year just a little over what I make(entrepreneur).
Nah :D... I started out in Computer Engineering Technology, and the first 2 years of the degree are identical to the Electrical Engineering curiculum. I got sick and tired of it so I switched to Computer Networking Systems. I'll be doing that for the next two years and then I'll be going for degrees in Computer Forensics and Criminal Justice.

My theory:
Homework if done wrong, could reflect a continuous effort of wrong answers.
I'm sorry but I strongly think you're wrong on this one. It goes againts the basic human ability to learn/memorize something by doing it enough times. Its part of our nature....The quote I posted for you by Tomas Edison sums it up very nicely.

I believe class should not be 40-45 minutes a class. But, much rather 3-4 hours per class. Therefore you have a teacher to refer too.
Unfortunately the attention span of a student is not that long, and it would make the class a boring experience. Yes you can include breaks in between, but sometimes the kids just cannot learn english and math for example, for 3 hours a day.
If you have 3 hour classes, you would still need to do extra work, which in this case would be considered Class Work. 3 hour classes would limit the amount of materials you take a day, from 6-7 to 2-3. That means you'd take a class once a week...leaving you a whole week without refreshing the information.

I don't agree with grades either. Nothing is lower than shame -- grades reflect in doing so.
Not everyone looks at it as shameful. Many look at it as a way to see where they stand, and what they need to work on. Grades are also a reward system and a preparation for real life. You do good in a test, you get an A, and you feel pumped up about it. You get a C or a B, you look at what you did wrong and you try harder next time to get that A. If you get a D or below, you're just not putting enough effort on it. Its telling you where you stand. You need a way to distinguish between the hard working, smart students to the dipshits who go to school just so cut classes and be troublemakers. Grades are also used as a guideline for colleges looking at whom to accept at their institution. I could go on and on about why grades are so useful but i'll stop here.

School should only be for those whom respect it and learn from it.
It already is.
