I'm antigun to the furthest extreme... I don't think there's ever a need for one... have never touched one and will never touch one... The day my country forces me to take up arms to defend it would be the day I killed myself.. but on from that...

While I find this website humerous, I don't see it as a big deal... Especially considering it's the US. If this was the worst thing that people did there, America might be seen around with world in a more positive light. It's a controlled environment... regardless of whether or not it's hacked.. I'm sure you are quite limited in your actions with the gun and that there's a hardware safety in place... If not... there's always the option of pulling the plug.

Now for my main comment (BTW this whole thread belongs in cosmos)... anyways.. There's no need for American police officers to carry guns... The US is definately overrun with nut jobs, however the majority of them are officers of the law.. 130 cops were killed... how many innocent people did they fire at?? How many people have they killed.. If you shoot someone... you deserve to be shot.. I don't care if you're 12 or 20... a civilian, a cop or a member of the armed forces... I'm Canadian, but I've been to the US on numerous occasions (growing up on the border does that to you)... American Police officers are the most arrogant, obnoxious, stuck up sons of bitches to walk the face of the earth... There's no justification to give them anything more than a ballpoint pen..

Police Carrying guns in America sadly is needed, but that comes back to all the people that love to say, "My Second amendment right allows me to have a gun." You are not a ****ing militia. If every nut job in america did not have guns, I don't think the cops would have them.

This country it is wayyyy to easy to get a gun.

At what angle you want to look at it, guns have only one function: to injure or kill someone. In my opinion, that power should only be wielded by professionals that have a valid reason to do so. Both 'professionals' and 'valid reason' are topic of another discussion.

Giving access to a gun over the internet gives every idiot and his brother access to a deadly weapon. Bad thing. Shouldn't be done for whatever reason. Period.

Don't rely on Govt to defend your ass, if that was the only way too defend their would be A LOT of dead people right now, because regaurdless of if you think guns should be legal, a robber isn't going to rob your house when you're in the back yard spraying a tree down.

I'm quite sure you drive a car, don't get me started on how many people I've actually watched die, in person, on the streets of South East Michigan. Should that be illegal too? If you think guns are something only people fighting for the Country should have, then shove your car up your ass too, because I could kill a lot more people, a lot faster, with a car than I could a gun. The gun would eventually run out of bullets, but I get damned good Mileage with Premium, and I could drive right through a bus stop of Children and wouldn't even have too get out.

No witnesses either, who the hell is going too say what happened? The bodys laying there? But with a gun they have a chance too run. A car, they can try, but kids can't outrun cars very well.

Just answer me one thing, getting rid of all the guns, what would stop a Govt from taking over all power and freedoms? NOTHING. Not that they couldn't, but how easy would it be when farmers are back too fighting for their Country with Pitch Forks.

Heh, I've watched someone die from a Pitch Fork by the way, it went right inside, so does that mean those should be taken away too?

Yes, they are. Tanks and fighter jets are made just too kill too. I'd love to ride/fly one, but that doesn't mean that their function is anything other than to harm/kill people.

There's a distinction in what the function of a gun is, or what you use it for. The function of shoelaces, to continue on your example, is to hold your shoes together. You can use them to kill someone as well, but as you pointed out, that goes for almost every object you can lay your hands on.

Man, I don't even know how I double posted and quoted myself but I can assure you I'm going too bed NOW. I'll read this and figure out how I did that when I wake up.

Before I go though, the fact I can punch through a brick and I've been trained too hurt people, does that mean I should be against the law too? Heh, you know me I have too push some buttons sometimes..... I'm going too bed, night all.
