Yes , I would agree, but that does not assume that when you hear the word police or anything sounding similar, you suddenly stop dead in your tracks, especially if you have done nothing wrong. If those officers had not been armed what would they have done? It would appear at the moment they f****d up, but time will tell

I am biased, I have had to work under the, "Rules of engagement"......Dam that sounds so pretentuos<wtf....

And yes, it would apear, they ****ed up. That however is a matter for the courts, it will get to the courts.

I just hate injustice, no matter from where it comes, be it the school bully or the government.
BTW my daughter is a cop , who had the bright idea to apply for a training role in Iraq. I managed to talk her out of it. I managed to convince her that she would be more of a problem in a foreign country than she would be here, as she can cause trouble in an empty house :D

They had to make an almost instantaneous judgement that could
have cost hundreds of people their lives. I wouldn't want their job.
I would also think that they acted according to training and in good faith.

Worse things are in store for us in the near future. This problem isn't just going
to "go away". We may all be face to face with the devil before this is all over.

It is never a question of when and if...it's only a question of how and why.

The how in this case is bullets, quick death...why, the officers were acting on the belief ( presumably ) that they were pursuing a menace to society...if they were wrong I can sympathize with the family's loss but the death of the man is not an issue with me...it's a non-issue...he was going to die anyways...don't feel sorry for the dead, the dead don't need your sympathies...feel sorry for the living.
