Also remember Linux is a much more flexible setup. Its not like windows where the backbone is the same in everything and theres just 3rd party software trying to cover it up.

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at. Believe me, I like Linux :) But what specifically do you mean when you say "Linux is a much more flexible setup"?

I think he means that there is so much variation from one distribution to another that it is, in some cases, very difficult for malware to affect a broad range of Linux distributions. I agree with this, to a certain extent - although, it does not have that much of an effect when there is a specific service being exploited.
