Indeed he is, and we're going to meet in Blackpool next week to discuss it further!
Are you really going all the way there JP??!!
You can stop over in Ireland for a pint of the black stuff on the way, visit me and Ennis and any other Irish in here!
Yes indeed I am. Actually nihil is also traveling, since he's on the East Coast of the country.
WolfeTone, Ireland will be next year. This year is the Northern UK and especially Scotland.
Oh very good, business/please/both?
Scotland, go to Edinborugh and Glasgow (only parts of it)
Pleasure entirely. I have three good friends who live in England; one in the south, one in the mids, and one in the north, but this trip I'll be visiting the one in the north. We rented a flat in Edinburgh, right on the Royal mile. But before we drive up to Edinburgh, I'll be meeting nihil in Blackpool. I was there last year also
Nice to see all the miles don't stop friendship in the online community!
Absolutely. This friend and I met because of his fondness for American baseball, and I had the privilege of facilitating his first trip to the United States, and taking him to his first ballgame. A very very long time ago he was stationed in Germany and met a couple of American servicemen from Brooklyn, Dodgers fans, and they got him into baseball
How small a world it truely is!!
I've always noticed that people who considered themselves "hackers" years ago and who have turned away from that description now due to the how the world views anybody attached to that title, in essence what I would call an "old school hacker" 99% of the time seem to be openly friendly and quiet willing to facilitate anybody from anywhere once they share the same "old school" philosopy on life - whether they were of a computer background or not.
That make sense??
Actually I'm a web developer, security, and breaching it, are not my areas of expertise. But I admin 30 forums for this company, covering every topic that there is in the world of I.T., so it would be pretty tough to find someone expert in all of them. And if you found them, odds are they'd be unaffordable.
But yes that does make sense.
