You know, when someone in music or someone who's done something for the World as a whole ODs on something, they should decriminalize whatever it was by a percent.

For example, when one of The Ramones died, they should have been like "****, this wouldn't have happened if we didn't make this so hard to get legally...".

Mr proof for how this works comes from New Zealand. How many people there have ODd and died from Codeine? Codeine turns into Morphine when it's processed in your brain, in NZ, you can get up to 12.5 MGs over the counter. does anyone die from it? that isn't allergic? No.

And saying it's the small amount is no longer a valid argument because we all know some cold water, hot water, and a coffee filter will purify that stuff.

The sad thing is, when they were deciding what things to make illegal, CAFFEINE WAS ON THE LIST!..... Think of where we would be today if Caffeine had been made just as illegal as Heroin... Computers would still be using punch cards.

Anyway I don't want to make this TO off topic, but drugs and music do go hand in hand. SxE bands suck anyway and no SxE musician is ever remembered.

(For the record, I don't condone making Heroin legal, however, I do think the states should do the same as Canada and New Zealand and allow Codeine with 3 other ingredients to be over the counter. I knew I was right all along, my leg and back problems kept me from doing much and even though the dose isn't huge it is enough to help, and now I've lost over 100 pounds because I can walk better.)

Back on topic:

Once I have a guitar I can use with my laptop, I do plan on laying out some stuff and recording more.

I made a new song last night I haven't put on my myspace yet because I don't know if it's good enough yet so it doesn't have my stamp of approval yet.

I also like what I came up with for the name:

Digital Horror.

I think that describes the music nicely. It's digital and made like Techno, Industrial and electronic, but the basis is the same as The Misfits; Horror Movies.

Even that is debatable these days? Like about 10 days ago a senior British police officer (level of chief for a whole State) was saying just that (by implication, as he meant cocaine, crystal meth and all the other ones as well).

This "alternative" approach argues that if you don't ban it you can control it, and even help people who become addicted. By de-criminalising it, you also stop the social stigma, getting a job problems and all that.

Better still (which I suspect was the cop's hidden agenda) you put a stop to gun totin' drug dealing scumbags. That is starting to be a real problem over here, and a great embarassment to our various police authorities.

Heroin is legal in the UK (on prescription) and we get around that by calling it "diamorphine" :D

My personal view is that these controls are overplayed in the USA. For some reason the abuse of prescription meds is perceived as a problem, and this filters through to the OTC scene? The people who lose out in the long run are those in pain.

Anyways, Allen, you cannot suck my cactus........... she has put on around 12" since I last mentioned her. OK she has also put some more weight (no, not that..........if you saw her spines you would understand:eek:) but the growth (and prizewinning) makes her legitimate sales value grow much faster than her mescalin content street value.

God knows I agree dude. Diamorph is actually accurate, when that German made Heroin for the first time he did it by adding acetic acid or something similar to Morphine he boiled on his kitchen stove, and called it diacetylmorphine which is the chemical name for it. Take out a few letters and you have a prescription lol.

And yea, you'd think they'd learn about the gun toting dealers from the prohibition days when Al Capone did the SAME thing...

EDIT: Well, I was going to go listen to your song, but I am running on a fresh installation of Ubuntu, and I don't have all of the plugins configured correctly... it just sat there flashing 'connecting' where the flash player was supposed to be... so it might be a while :)

EDIT #2: ok, my problem was that I was trying to use a plugin called gnash, which is worthless. I switched back to adobe, and it is working fine. like the new song... but I still like digital fear the best.
