None taken. But you do realize that sometimes we sit back in hopes that members can deal with things so we don't have to step in. It's within everyone's ability to stop a flame war or kill a flame war from happening. Closing a thread doesn't solve things and sometimes can make things worse.Quote:

Personally, I'd rather that members figure out how to deal with those that they are "unable" to deal with. There usually is a way to deal with it and people, IMHO, seem to be too quick to go to emotion and forget that the other person may not have communicated their thoughts in the best manner. We all have bad days. Sometimes it comes across in a message when we didn't intend it or sometimes we misread a message beause our perception is clouded by other issues.

Just in reply to a few things here.
I've been asked by numerous people to close this thread but have never had this thread reported which is usually the only time I will close a thread.
I think this thread serves a purpose, it keeps the crap out of this forum and numerous others I'm sure. If you guys enjoy this thread I dont see why I should close it, its not my job to close popular threads that have many replies. However I would look at from a personal point of view some people have is it 500 posts here in this thread along, thats gonna stick.
Very good point Ms Mittens and sometimes members should read the post not only once but maybe a second time and think before they type in a reply and press the reply button to a question that has been asked.
I can see why you are a Moderator, Ms.Mittens. I didn't think of it that way, my point was that a thread that had no anti points would have no checks and balences to keep flame wars from starting or people could carry thier anger into a different forum and flame each other there. There would need to be someone or something to keep the peace.
