Good Idea lawrence171 in those other countries the students have to their simple arithmatic and more complex stuff without computers, unlike here where once you get to the multiplication tables the teachers hand out calculators. Although it wasn't always like this. I remember way back when I was in grade school. If we got caught with a calculator we got detention and our teachers made us do little math contests.
/me sniffs softly in rememberance of happier less stressfull times with no worries

Could do that....
All I'm saying is that some people have allowed themselves to be slaves of technology....
Don't get me wrong, I am totally for technology....
I love my DVD, I love my games, and I love the Internet!
I just find it sad how some people have submitted to technology....
Also, I'm just bringing to light the possible problems with computers....
We are all human, and we all make mistakes, just some make more mistakes then others....
I will admit to my own mistakes, just like everyone else...
My spelling isn't the best (although I am french), I could shed a few pounds from sitting in front of the computer so much (make some muscle :)), and my eyesight has been effected due to staring at a screen for so much...

This whole tread was about how humans depend on computers to compensate for their lazyness (keep in mind, does not include the human race as a whole)
Well how about arguing this?
Can you tell me that an elderly man with a pacemaker is not dependant on a computer? Or at least a form of electronic device?
What about an elderly person with a hearing aid?
Now off topic of the elderly, what about young children who lost their ability to walk and use an electric wheelchair?
I know these are all impaired people using computers for their disabilities.... but can't you agree that they are dependant on computers, in some form?
(Side Note: Can't wait till the body pc is fully functional... I AM BORG :borg: )
