It's got to do with many facts, and one person (whoever wrote the article in question) can't just stereotype all women's attraction to any sort of person. All people are different, think differently, and look different, so in turn, that person seeks different qualities which they find to be attractive. The same can be said about men of course.
I believe that each person prefers a few top qualities in both, mental categories, and physical categories, that a person looks for, and all other attributes about that person are accepted for what they are. For example: I like women who have red hair (physical), who care about themselves and have that degree of self respect (mental), if they have this degree, they will care about themselves, and will be mindful of how they project their outward appearance. This means that they will have good hygiene, keep themselves in shape, and have good habits. Now, when I say these above things, I don't mean I want them to always wear make up, or go to the gym everyday. In fact, I find natural beauty to be the best, but I mean they have to care about themselves. And I like women who are intelligent - hackers? :) All other things, or the majority of them are acceptable the way they are, i.e. social? interests? hobbies?
Yeah, so...I didn't necessarily think that one out, I just sort of flowed, but I hope it makes some sense.

I find an intelligent and challenging man sexy, if he happens to be a hacker, so be it...I want a guy to make me think as much as I make him think about things.....kind of like intellectual intercourse. And he HAS to like video games as much as I do, or ELSE.
