Not sure why you'd get bent out of shape, it's how you live your life, and it's a style of living. Don't see the big deal.
Everyone should live their life how it makes sense to them, because if it makes sense to you then little things like somebody using the wrong word or phrase to descibe it shouldn't bother you.

I do however, think you have every right to engage in anything that is acceptable by a heterosexual couple (kissing, etc.). Anyone who shuns you for that deserves to be slapped IMO. I personally have no problems with gays, but then again, my mom had several gay friends while I was growing up. I myself am not gay, but I respect the way other people feel best about, leading their lives.

Well personally I'm not gay. I don't look down on gay people though. (unless they keep hitting on me AFTER I have told them to stop and that I'm not gay. (has happened)).
I mean, its hard enough to find someone compatible being heterosexual, It must be really hard for homosexuals or bi's. Personnaly I give the gays and bi's props for finding someone and putting up with all the bullshit that goes along with it. They truly are stronger than most other heterosexual people.
All I have to say is. A good looking girl that is into computers, damn I wish you lived near me.

It doesn't just SEEM insensitive, it is. I realize that men are attracted to who would make the better partner.....all I said was that I didn't care for the word BREED. Honestly, the word makes me feel disgusting, and useless except for the fact that I AM able to produce offspring. That was the statement I was trying to make. Being a woman and having that word used just felt gross, simply put. I don't want to ever be thought of as being someone's breeding partner.

Breeding? might as well say to a girl "Hey, lets make make some babys tonight!" thats just wrong...
homosexuality to me is no problem. i really dont care what two people do for pleasure whether they be straight, bi-sexual,gay, or tri-sexual (you know, "tri-anything":animals, food...)
but i guess when you see two people that are different from you, you don't know what to think sometimes. i'll admit, i used to yell at homosexuals saying "fag" or "Hey, you guys going to do some anal anarchy?" sometimes they would yell back "BREEDERS"
but some bigots need to learn that people have the right to express themselves.
accept it and respect it.
