US and Germany recently had this conflict when some German minister or something had compared Bush to Hitler. I don't agree with him, but there was a thing I found amusing some week later in some more anarchistic newspaper...: "The difference between Bush and Hitler is that Hitler was crazy but not stupid, Bush is stupid but not crazy."

Interesting,but it doesn't make me think Bush is any kind of equivelant to Hitler.When I lived in the St. Louis area,there was a radio station,105.7 The Point,and one of the early morning talk shows had an ongoing segment for years after a scientist came on and said he could link anyone in the world to anyone else through three family members and/or friends.And every time the guy did it.So basically anyone who has Indo-European ancestors could be tied to some Nazi somewhere along the line.
Well, Hitler was a genius, he used his capacity stupidly by killing jews, but however, if he hadn't attacked Russia in that time of year, maybe today, we might be considering him a good person.
I found this very interesting site about geneology, and what stands out most is that an unusually high number of US Presidents are descendents of some sort of European Royalty. At least to me :D. Conspiracy-minded folk can visit the site here.
We don't just have energy in us, we are MADE of energy. all matter is on a subatomic level... all matter is made up of atoms, which are made up of protons, electrons, and nuetrons... ENERGY. By your definition your desk is alive, and so is your pencil and your styrofoam cup. and when we die it doesn't go away... it doesn't stay awake and float around concious either. you are made of the same energy as everything else, but you are no more concious after death than the clothes on your back. where does that energy go? the nitrogen cycle makes it useful for life around you. read a sixth grade biology book, alot of man's profound questions are answered there.Quote:

Gravity? if thats all you need to make you beleive in an invisible man in the sky, i got a bridge i wanna sell you. gravity goes back to that sub-atomic energy thing i told you about. Newton says that in the vacuum of space, objects are attracted to the field of energy involved in holding together something with mass, the greater the object's mass, the stronger the pull. earth has quite a bit more mass than you or me. we are caught in its gravitational pull. as for our orbiting of the sun, we aren't just floating in a circle for no good reason, we are perpetually falling, but due to our speed, we keep falling off the edge of the sun, that's what orbit means.Quote:

I'm not sure if genius is the word for it. He was very charismatic and could capture the hearts of a nation but, then again, so did Elvis. Hitler was obviously quite intelligent but I think calling him a genius is being a little too kind. ;)

Everything in the universe is vibration…in the beginning was the word, that first utterance of pure power. The eternal vibration that created and keeps on creating all that we know. The big bang (I prefer the first utterance).

Now these are some very far out words, I agree. But they speak of a life filled with beauty and wonder. Don’t be so hard on life. When you think of those electrical pulses coursing threw our brains remember that those electrons are part of the mystery of the universe. Those feelings that those pulses give are our connection to the infinite. To say we are nothing more than chemical reaction is really missing the point. Facts taken out of context.

But what if you're wrong? What if there is a God at the end of that tunnel? What if He holds you accountable for the way you lived your life and your choice for or against receiving the gift of salvation through his Son Jesus? What then?
