Oh my bad, I thought when you promoted a national drivers license you were promoting a national ID, because my drivers license is my ID. A national sex offender database would also be a little overkill. It's hard to track those at even a local level. Let alone some office in DC tracking the offenders in Idaho. A large percentage of registered sex offenders drop off the list after a couple of years anyway. It's kind of stupid to think they are actually going to face persecution for the rest of their lives no matter how good the idea is. I mean I like to see who is a registered sex offender in the hood but what do I care about someone registered on main street in New York? I am being a little critical because I don't think the goverment security blanket works. I bet if you look at your state level offender list, a large lot will say "location - unkown"
