it is responding to light it changes color and speed . sure it has the glow of infra red but infra red does not change color in diffrent lightining comdoitionsQuote:

it seems like transparant jelly which kind of has a glowing gas around it that enlarges as it comes near to the stair caseQuote:
I also notice that It does not grow....Just the aura around it seems to increase when it enters the lighted area.

It was around midnight, cold outside about 15 or 20 degrees F, but the inside is heated. The building was built in the early 1800's and was the Merchantile for a small town in the midwest. For privacy purposes I do not want to disclose the exact location, I will just say that I am in this building every day just about.Quote:

Was there any electrical activity....Lightning etc....Was there noticeable interruptions to satellite or Television in the area on the night this was taken???
maybe it's harry potter with his invisibility coat on and a flashlight:), no really i can' tthink of any logic reason to this. Weird hings have happened before.
Have you had any other experiences in the building..cold spots....any known history of paranormal activity..?
do you have a chemical store around that mingt store methane or calcium. because i had one incident when i saw a glowing light in the nearby field later came to know that it was doe to burning of calcium from dead animals bones
