It boils down to how one stimulates economy Negative. The republicans subscribe to trickle down economics. It's not rocket science. The democrats subscribe to squeezing the rich. In all scenarios where deficits are involved that squeezing action leads to severe inflation. I am not rich but I get it. Kerry is one of those filthy rich bastards the left hates, I DON’T get that. I am middle class and I get the hell taxed out of me but I say fight the war, run up some debt and then pay it off JUST like we did with the Soviet Union JUST like we did with Europe and JUST like we did in every other war. Who can tell me what percentage of the budget is the national debt or the cost of war? It's TINY.
Perhaps next time the democrats will have a presidential candidate that appeal to America outside high school and the homeless. If anti bush haters had any real sense they would talk about his BS policies with Cuba and Mexico. They would even comment that the gay marriage issue was a ****ing bone of no substance (IT’S DEAD) and that he caves on key issues of importance to the party and is a DIRECT agenda of the Democrats outside of tax issues. In fact he's there best candidate outside of antiwar movements who will let Terrorist kill their children because it's not nice to stand up and fight after being attacked. In fact the issue in Iraq is this now and they don’t have a clue, they are KILLING EACH OTHER. But it's about daddy and oil and Halliburton nonsense.

That's EXACTLY my point but talking dirt with a lot of Democrat voters will turn them off since they would have to actually read up on something. So it's Haliburton, Daddy, Redneck they understand. Wash them with the media and you have a set core group that will be swayed. But here you need a little more.
Yeah, that's true. People do need to read up on the particular issues/topics they discuss when it comes to the certain parties (Bush and Kerry in this case).

Yes I have :). I actually heard him Live today speaking in Tennessee. I've heard him speak in numerious occasions but this speech was quite different IMO. He made much more sense, he spoke more clearly and got the message through. During the part that I watched, he stuck to the point and only launched a couple of serious jokes about John Kerry.
I know he's not the best public speaker, but I let his actions form an opinion about him in my mind, not how well he speaks in public.
War in Afghanistan: The terrorists had already waged war againts us, it just took us a bit longer, and the events of 9/11 to realize that we needed to fight back. We did not start war with them, they started with us...and they got burned. They probably didn't even expect us to react this way. War in Iraq: It had to happen. End of story. Bush would have taken the same exact actions againts Iraq even with the information he has today. Kerry would have done the same. He's not finishing daddy's little work, but he's finishing THE JOB. Saddam should have been taken out during the First Gulf War. Unfortunately he pulled out of Kuwait as soon as we knocked on Baghdad's door, so the Coalition couldn't continue their assault (Which they should have IMO). The Bush administration was introduced to the information and the intel that we all are very familiar with by now. The Bush administration introduced the UN to the same Intel, and with a vote 15-0 they passed a resolution for Saddam to Disarm. Saddam continued his refusal to allow inspectors back in to check his entire arsenal. Knowing Saddam's previous deception and his will to aquire WMDs, military action was the best solution.
Negative: Yes wars do cost a lot of money, but they also have helped a lot of countries out after an economic disaster. WW2 for example, helped many countries get out of The Great Depression. After WW2 America emerged as the only economic superpower and after 1963 it had the greatest economic boom ever.
The war in Iraq and Afghanistan will cost us a lot of money, but now we have 2 more countries as trade partners. The Economy has gotten much stronger after 9/11. To me, that means a successful administration in power, and I would vote for them as well. If it aint broke, why fix it?
