Does anyone know what an expert system is?? I had to write some code here at home and then compile it at school with a program called vpx.exe. I searched google for it but could find anything. We've been talking about programs that ask questions, so we designed a small simple one. Heres the code I have. Maybe someone will recognize this.

I used to write expert systems in Turbo Pascal (even had a very good book on the subject, but I can't find it now).
The structure looks more like a pseudo code, from which one would go a write a really complex decision structure and build a user interface around it.
'Course, then with re-usable objects and such, you can ask more questions and get more answers as the program polymorphs into something more complex and intelligent. Then it will take over the world.
It's getting late and I need to get some beauty sleep.

Yeah I think thas pretty much what that is. Program the options and rules then create an interface for the end user. I just can't find a program to run it.

HeyNightfalls, well i had to go to court because i went out with a few friends and got a lil trashed.
One thing led to another and i got into a fight with another drunk person. Well after 2 rounds of slugging it out. The other guy fell to the ground unconcious, well unknown to the rest of us this person was taken to Hospital by the Paramedics and slipped into Coma.
So off course i got charged with Attempted Murder..
I knew that i was most likely going to get a free holiday from the Government..
But the God's musta been looking down on me Today, as after recieving a Hour long tongue lashing from the Judge, i got to go home, with a nice little Fine to pay..
(Dammit now i carn't get those parts i wanted to buy before i move..!)

There are clams, and there are clams. Chowder is often made from whatever the local clam is. How they are prepared often determines whether they end up like rubber bands or delicate, tastey morsels.
I have a preference for razor clams in chowder. I think they are only available around the Northwest Coast, so y'all are probably just outta luck. Unless the dude imports them.
