Yes, but it's not our job to go around the world making everyone the way we want them to be and making them our "trade partners". We are not the world police, and we shouldn't have that kind of power. Bush wants that power. As for justification for the two wars? Bah.. Bullshit IMO. Let the U.N decide who need's to be taken out, who's a problem and who isn't. Hell, if they weren't in Bush's pocket and they weren't kissing his ass, they'd probably see that HE'S a problem.. that he's a threat. But hell, him/his administration/etc is so strong and whatnot that the U.N couldn't stop us.Quote:

Hell yes he did and he did not get re-elected. So there is point number 2 that got Clinton in office. Raising taxes and backing down in Iraq. At least for me. If Bush(es) were REALLY concerned with Iraq and Iraq only, the government of Saddam would have been eradicated in the 90s the trouble is, the opposite is true they were and to some extent are now more concerned with not pissing of the world anymore than is necessary.Quote:

I agree, but his dishonor to vets after he got back is a factor for me. He is the one that brings vietnam to the front of every speech, every puplic appearance with every office he ever ran for. I have a hard time overlooking Kerry the war protestor as an office for president. Even so, if he brought something to the table outside copying Bush then I would consider his proposals and accept them or reject them based on the present and future needs of my country.
